There was a young boy who had dreams of becoming a professional baseball player. The young boy would work hard and practice daily to perfect his craft. As the young boy had gotten older into high school he met a girl with whom he instantly fell in love. The girls family especially her brothers didnt agree with this young man dating their sister. This young guy would spend countless days and nights thinking of this girl, calling every chance he got to check on her. At first it was nice and the girl found his gestures to be somewhat sweet. Soon the young man would begin questioning her every move and demanding that his girlfriend was not showing him enough attention. The girl slowly stopped hanging out with her friends and her grades began to drop drastically. When trying to explain to her boyfriend about her concerns with grades and their relationship the guy knocks her to the ground and spits on her while shouting obscenities. The girl continues in the relationship making excuses that he was stressed from practice and maybe she wasnt showing him enough attention. After a couple days had passed the young man offered to take the girl out for some ice cream and bought her her favorite color of flowers which made her feel that he loves her. She had some news to share with him concerning a scholarship she had been offered and proceeds to ask him how he felt about her attending college in another state. The guy replies that he will be playing professional baseball and expected for her to follow him to Texas because he too was offered a scholarship. The guy then began sweating and yelling at the girl accusing her of leaving him for someone else. The guy then proceeds to hit the girl and to his demise a police officer had been patrolling the area and witnessed the assault taking place. The guy was arrested and taken to jail while the girl was sent to the hospital for further examinations and she testified to the doctor at the hospital of previous incidents of abuse. On graduation day for the two the girl accepted her scholarship to attend college in another state while the guy had to sit and watch all of his fellow team mates accept their awards and scholarship to play with other colleges. The college he received a scholarship for reviewed his case and decided he would not be a good model for their school. The guy today lives in agony over the choices he could have made but chose to allow his need to rule, rule him. -Never get involved with someone who does not allow you the freedom to live and enjoy life with others around you. Many times people who want to hold you back are the ones who cannot visualize their own life as becoming great or dont believe in themselves. If they dont believe in themselves lies and manipulation is what they will give you to control you.
