There will be a Fundraiser and Rally in Montauk at the Point Bar and Grill on Thursday September 12, 2013 from 5:30p.m-7:30 p.m. There is no admission, a basket will be passed. Republican Town Board Candidates will attend for a Q&A session. There will be free appetizers and a cash bar with happy hour prices. All are asked to attend! Here is some information about Joe: Joe Bloecker has been married 22 years to Cheryl Bloecker and is the proud parents of Fallon Bloecker, who is attending Oneonta State College. Personal: He graduated from St. John the Baptist and has been an East Hampton Resident for 37 years. He is the current president of The Montauk Friends of Erin, a civic organization he has been apart of for over 20 years. Professional: He was a Commercial fisherman for almost 10 years and has been a contractor ever since 1985. He has also received a real estate license (2002) and a Home Inspection certificate (2001). Community/Government Service: Joe is a 3 term elected East Hampton Town Trustee, a Former Co-Chair East Hampton Town Cancer Task Force, an original member of the Nature Preserve Community and also apart of the Montauk Citizens Advisory Committee. He also coached Little League for 21 years.
