Theres a lot going on at Arkansas Childrens Hospital this morning!! While our precious Champ had two SVT episodes during the night (one required meds, one did not), they are doing a trial to clamp the ECMO machine to see how his little heart and lungs do on their own. So far its going well. Ironically, now they hope he has an SVT so they can see if his heart will come out of it on its own, or if its the ECMO thats been doing it. (UGH!!) They have begun a different medication for that (saying thats nothing to be concerned about; it takes time to figure out what works best.) His labs are coming back good with NO signs of any infection! YAY! They have had to up the doses of the sedative and morphine because hes moving too much!! Thats Grammys Little Man!! He is sleeping on one of Mommys shirts and has his own blanket to cover him - the smells of home! Jeanne and David have been told to expect to be there AT LEAST another 2 weeks, so your donations to the GoFundMe account (gofundme/ap0me8) are so very appreciated! The Ronald McDonald House is still full, and the hotel where they have been the last two nights is full tonight, so they are having to move to another hotel. :( Theres a square dancing convention, of all things, in Little Rock this weekend and rooms are scarce. Please include in your prayers for them that they will not have any further stress placed on them about a place to stay that is close to Collin. I know I must sound like a broken record, but we are all so very grateful to ALL of you for taking care of our precious Collin, and all of us, spiritually and in so many other ways! We truly are overwhelmed and so appreciative! Your generosity will be paid forward by all of us in whatever ways we can 2 Samuel 2:6 May the LORD now show you kindness and faithfulness, and I too will show you the same favor because you have done this.
