Theres a lot of anger at people who use privilege and money to skirt the rules. Thats not whats happening here. People opting out of vaccination are behaving rationally. 1. If vaccines work, then people who want the protection should get them. 2. If vaccines harm, kill, or only work sometimes, then we have a product problem, not a parent problem. 3. If people are supposed to assume the risks of vaccination to protect society, then first you must prove that vaccination (as opposed to natural immunity) actually creates herd immunity. 4. If people are supposed to vaccinate for the greater good, and if vaccine-induced herd immunity is indeed legitimate, then all people should be compelled to get all vaccines and boosters and not just children. 5. If people are supposed to vaccinate for the greater good, then there first must be: a) acceptance that vaccine injury is real, and that vaccines can cause death and catastrophic injury b) societal understanding, acknowledgement, and respect for the dangers of vaccination and the risks taken c) appropriate, generous, and expedited compensation that takes into account the massive financial, emotional, and societal burdens caused by vaccine injury d) barring that, people must at least be permitted full legal recourse through the justice system (as families soon discover, the VICP is not a legitimate court, with no judge, jury of peers, or evidentiary rules including discovery). People behave in a rational manner. Anger is appropriate. Direct it at the people perpetuating misguided policies and their ongoing attempts to demonize the wrong people.
