Theres a scholar who I have always been absolutely in love with for the sake of Allah swt. He is the only one I go to knowing his answers are 100% based on the Quran and sunnah (accurate). This sheikh (hes actually really young) is the reason I became a stronger believer and closer to Allah swt. He is valuable and personal to me. When I think of a true believer, true scholar, true worshiper of Allah swt in this day and age, I think of him. He has the character of a man who I dream, wish, and pray I can find in a spouse and companion (which is hard to find in Muslims these days). He is truly the reason for many of my successes in this life and being inspired by him, I was able to sacrifice many things for Allah swt by his way of teaching/inspiring the beauty of our religion. I was introduced to him 3 years ago on a show called Ask the sheikh (on iqraa). I would call in at least 3 times every week to ask him questions and watch his show every night before I went to bed. When people would tell me what is haraam, I would get defensive and upset (hoping to go on with following my desires) but when he teaches that which is haraam in Islam (bdays, music, make up, mixed weddings, jeans, non halal meat)...my iman would strengthen, and refraining from acts that are forbidden became feasible to sacrifice for Allah swt. Its his passion, confidence, and the proof he provides which gives me a trustworthy source to Islam. The only way you can know who a person is, is by knowing who they take as a leader, as a teacher. Trustworthy scholars are rare, good scholars are rare as well. My dream has been and will always be to meet him. Sheikh Musa Cerantonio
