Theres an old saying: You cant be a prophet in your home town. Many awakening people find that the surging power that is at the engine of their transformation causes their family of origin and local tribal affiliation to behave badly, attempt to control, and/or cast out the awakening one. I know it hurts, beloved, but know this: Some people are so spiritually impoverished that the only way they can support your awakening is to cast you out. All they have to give you is the empty space they once stood in so you can unfold into your truer self.
