Theres this couple i met a few weeks back. Im telling you as soon as they arrived they came out of their beautiful mercedes benz, the man was wearing a black levi jean, some nice fancy shoes, a long sleeved tshirt slightly folded up his arms, a cozy winter jacket, hair was nicely trimmed, a nice watch, and he just looked so nice. His wife was wearing a black levi jean, a nice white top, a nice simple black jacket, the most amazing heels, i cant even describe them, beautiful jewellery, her hair was well done and she looked amazing. It was a very casual look, but you could see these people had money. They have been married for 22 years and have children and their home and all. The love between them was evident still after all these years. I admired the way they were and longed for something like what they have. What i took away from this couple is that, its okay for you and your partner to want nice things, if its within your means then theres no harm. The wife doesnt depend on her husband though for this, no, they both bring their fair share. They are also very spiritual so their relationship is based on the foundation of God. I admired that even more. I realized God can truly make you and your partner great and you can have an amazing loving life if you trust in the Lord and ask Him to bless your relationship. We have lost focus of that these days and we honestly only talk about God but we dont really practice religion in our relationships. When one party is angry all hell breaks loose yet we claim to be Godly people. I made some changes in my life from what i learnt from that couple and i decided only God will dictate my relationship from now on. I respect that couple so much, because they are both pastors believe it or not and they preach side by side yet live like ordinary people while practicing religion. For me there was no greater eye opener than that. Only God will ever judge you or me and only God ever knows whats realy in a persons heart and in my case, He knows i just want peace, love, respect, trust, commitment, loyalty, honor, discipline and most of all God fearing relationship.
