There’s plenty of time to make a donation to Share A Christmas Dinner, a program that helps ensure everyone in the community has a meal this holiday season. Distribution is set for Dec. 19. Share has been offered by the Southern Standard since 1981. Last year, generous donations allowed for the distribution of over 600 food boxes. Every penny of your donation is used to purchase food. Stop by Foodland Plus and purchase a card, or donations can be dropped off at the newspaper office at 105 College Street, or mailed to Southern Standard, attention Share, P.O. Box 150, McMinnville, Tenn., 37111. Below are a few photos from previous years.
