These are the journeys of the Children of Israel (33:1) We find - TopicsExpress

These are the journeys of the Children of Israel (33:1) We find something amazing in the section of the journeys and encampments – the letter Zayin is not mentioned even once! Amazing! It seems that the reason for this is that the letter Zayin hints at two distinct things : The number 7 and clai Zayin / implements of war. It appears, based on the commentaries , that two lessons were learned from this. Lesson one is that the Jewish people never travelled on Shabbos, the 7th day of the week. Lesson two was that the Jewish people never needed to use implements of war to fight their battles as all their battles were Divinely commanded and utilized the ineffable name to kill their enemies as if by the sword. We do not use Torah codes to convince anyone of the Divine origin. From a purely scientific perspective, however, the odds of any of the many little things like this of happening as often as they do are so astronomical that they would be considered impossible.
