These are uncertain times. continuing economic, political, military, and social unrest breed anxiety for the present and fear for the future. There is no guarantees of a secure tomorrow. Yet the Scriptures remind us that finding security in his changing world has always been weak at best. "Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring forth" Pro.27:1 our best efforts, our wisest investments, our shrewdest decisions can suddenly be nullified by the swirling winds of change. lasting security has been and always will be found in knowing, trusting, and obeying God whose counsel "stands forever" and whose plans are "from generation to generation" Ps.33:11. Entering into and abiding in a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ is only sure route to security now and for the future.
