They came in by the dozens walking or crawling some were bright eyed some were dead on their feet. And they came from Zimbabwe or Soviet Georgia, east St Louis, or from Paris, or they lived across the street. And when they finally made it here it was the least that we could do to make our welcome known. Come on in, we havent slept for weeks, drink some of this itll put color in your cheeks. Thank you Barcelona for putting color in my cheeks. The beauty of your streets, your culture, your food, and most of all your people will reinvigorate me to take life a little slower on New Yorks mean streets. Until we meet again, Spain, you continue to amaze me.
