They have seen 60 + years of Israeli Terror, now they sit in a UN school in Gaza, being displaced all over again When you see a photo like this, when you see the look of despair and sadness on their faces, keeping in mind that this couple has lived through a lifetime of Israels unholy terrorism for nearly 70 years, how can your heart not beak? Theyve lived, breathed and experienced nearly 70 years of massacre after massacre, bombings, slaughter, injustice, insult added to injury, exile, refugehood, burying their young and knowing theyre likely to die without seeing the only home theyve ever known free. To say its devastating is an understatement. Every wrinkle lining their faces, every cell and every muscle, every fragment of bone, and every last atom in their body remembers each and every assault against their homes and security, their human dignity and their existence. Each remembered grievance swims in their veins like hardened shrapnel that never dissolved in time. The old will die, but the young will never forget the evil, terror and silence.
