They say foresight is one of the principles of servant leadership - TopicsExpress

They say foresight is one of the principles of servant leadership that enables a leader to understand lessons from the past, the realities of the present and the likely consequence of a decision in the future. Truth be told, this is a critical trait that is utterly missing in Adan Duale. He can defend Jubilee as much as he can (I have no problem with that, for that is perfectly within his JD), but he shud nonetheless, have the empathy and commitment to listen to the cries of his people. Its one and a half years down the line and Duale has nothing much to show for his position as NA Majority Leader, save for being Jubilees robotic henchman. The growing repugnance among the Muslims for Duale is an attestation of his below-per performance as a national leader who ought to have been the Muslims voice in the Government. Mr Duale, your defence of Uhurus regime has been excellent but trust me, you will only serve as NA Majority Leader for ONE TERM and this is why: You see, in the run up to the 2013 General Elections, many top politicians, both in CORD and Jubilee didnt foresee the political clout and significance of the position of NA Majority Leader. That is why Moses Wetangula and Charity Ngilu (key partners in CORD and Jubilee respectively) opted for Senate Majority Leader since it was thought to be more glamarous than that of NA Majority Leader. This probably explains why URP had no problem in giving you that position while CORD, having downplayed the significance of the position, didnt even bother to identify someone for the position although it was to be given to the Wiper Party. Fast forward to the post election period and many politicians eventually (and belatedly) saw the trappings of power that came with Duales position. He became the 3rd most powerful Jubilee politician after UhuRuto. Infact, some say he is just a heart-beat away from the Presidency(oh, how sweet can it get?). Now Mheshimiwa Duale, this is my shocker for you; in 2017, Jubilee having realized the potent power of the position of NA Majority Leader, they will definitely use it as a political bait to attract votes from other populous regions (either Ukambani or Gusiiland) and that will be the start of your political demise. Its time you stop living in the world of fantasy. Brother, wake up and smell the coffee! You still have enough time to make a difference for the people of Northern Kenya, and the Muslims in general. DISCLAIMER; you may say you have been elected to represent the people of Garissa Township, but the position of NA Majority Leader was largely as a result of URPs portrayal as a party for the pastrolists and other marginalized communities-we therefore, have the rights to remind and reprimand you as our leader!
