They will hate you!!! There was a kid named Charley who just a typical kid in the neighborhood. He was average until about 7th grade. Out of no where Charley had this amazing growth spurt. Charley was often overlook until his growth spurt. Once he grew 6 inches over his 6th grade summer he became the talk of the school. It didnt help that he noticed his growth and picked up a basketball. Charley is 64 in 7th grade and has in one summer learned how to be a great basketball player. When try out came for the middle school basketball team Charley dominated everyone. It was truly unfair. Once the coach saw Charley play he drew near and dear to Charley. The coach wanted to guide and help Charley be all that he could be. His goal was to keep Charley on the straight and narrow and keep him moving in the right direction. Now because Charley had favor from his basketball coach other team members disliked Charley. They did everything to brake him, lower his self esteem, pick on him ,even try to hurt him so he couldnt play. They even as a team went to the coach and pleaded with the coach to put him off the team because Charley took the fun out of the game! They complained about how he was not normal like the rest of the team and he should be put off the team. Charley was confused because all he did was choose a game he loved and his coach saw something great and decided to push him for greatness. This is what life is like day in and out. We chose God (basketball) and because we did so, we received favor. Now the coach (Holy Spirit) is guiding us daily and pushing us to be great and helping us make sound wise decisions. Because we chose basketball (God) over everything else our peers (the enemy) and others will persecute, talk about, put down, frown upon, attack, try to destroy etc. Because of that decision. Here is what I am saying. In life people will say, do, and even attempt some really crazy things toward you that may be confusing to you. Its not always something youve done but its something youve done, which is chose God over everything of this world. Know that walking with God people will turn on you, say things about you, or even do things toward you because of your decision to walk with God. No matter what happens stand strong knowing that God is still there with you through it all. Remember if Jesus was crucified for being the son of God (and to save our souls) what makes you think you wont be treated badly or poorly at times because of who you are in the father? Today let the Father shine in you no matter what is said or done!!! Have a terrific Tuesday!!! P.E.H. They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service. And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me. (John 16:2, 3 KJV)
