Things that do not make your worship postmodern (Im being facetious, so dont get offended if you do any of these; I would argue that some of them are good and right! Theyre just not postmodern): 1. reading poetry 2. icons 3. prayer stations where you can do group painting 4. candles, no matter how many tea candles you use 5. taize/chant 6. singing Shes Got the Whole World in Her Hands 7. allowing non-pastoral staff room to speak in the service 8. djembe 9. times of silent reflection 10. the use of Buddhist prayer bells. 11. anything involving the corporate use of post-it notes 12. giving people a rock, seed, etc. after the service
