Think about things you say frequently, but dont really give much - TopicsExpress

Think about things you say frequently, but dont really give much thought to. Many of these words and phrases reveal hidden assumptions about the nature of the world - however these assumptions may not necessarily be shared by the person actually using said words and phrases, its the words themselves. Lets go deep. For example - how often do you refer to another country, when in reality youre referring to the government of that country? How often do you call this piece of land were standing on Australia, implying its ownership by the Australian Government (a corporation, listed on the stock exchange - like the name on your birth certificate), how often do you call the tribes of this continent Aboriginals (a word which means not original, as in not originally from this place), or the tribes of other lands natives (from the Latin nativus, which means slave)? Regardless of the meanings of these words, each of them have a role in what I would call power-positioning - projecting your preferred power hierarchy onto the world through descriptive language, describing the world as being a particular way and then behaving as though it were that way. This is something you are doing on a daily basis, probably close to constantly. But what do you really know about anything? Youve already allowed yourself to be duped on a fundamental level in that you believe that your presence on this continent, which some have named Australia, results in you being a citizen (actually the queens subject in Australian Governments Constitution) and thereby subordinate to the legal conditions of that nation. Why should that necessarily be the case? I walk on this land, but Im no Australian, Im just what I am, as are you, as is everything else, in fact nothing can help being anything other than what it is. And thats rarely any of the things we humans try and describe it as. How is the world often described? These days, scientific and rational discourse dominates this agenda, at least for those in the information mainstream. Most of us have been deluded into believing other human beings from day one, and ascribing authority to certain people with words and letters before their names. People waste hours of their lives debating the various aspects of reality, all the while unaware that what they are so fervently debating is not reality at all, but just a description of it that they happen to adhere to. In many ways science is quite a nefarious force, levelling out the opposition with its well-reasoned and logical theories that offer proof and evidence, unlike say Intelligent Design (just as damaging), as if having proof counts for anything at all. A scientific viewpoint is now the default view and all deviation from it is mocked and opposed. If your alarm bells arent ringing youre a fool. Hello, youve just let a group of other human beings dictate to you whats right and whats wrong, not just in your life but in the life of the entire universe, and you just go along with it because they sound smart! No no NO, science, like everything else you could possibly say about anything that actually exists, is just a description of the world. Its not true. The only thing that is true is what is taking place, right now. So, for instance, whats true right now is that whats happening to me right now is happening. Thats not to say that I am certainly typing on a keyboard, writing this passage, sitting upright etc., because none of those things are necessarily the case, but theres something going on, so thats the truth. People are constantly questioning whats real, when the whole things been real the whole time, the whole stream of your life from beginning to end is straight-up real - yes that most certainly includes your dreams - so grow up and get over it, this is LIFE! Everyone struts around like theyve got all the answers, but cant you see that were all absolute morons in the face of it all? What do you know for certain about anything? Youll find you really DO know some things, but cant ever seem to put them into words - thats a positive thing, because words do not define reality, in many ways theyre quite distant from it. Because people are so obsessed with verbalising everything, they cant allow themselves to believe anything that isnt a logical argument. They might as well believe gibberish then, because thats what these arguments amount to. Your truth can only ever be discovered through experience. You can only experience the truth, you cant ever learn it, you cant ever debate it or describe it, really all that can be said about it is that it is what it is, and even thats going way too far. Take a step away from the norm, from the rote opinions that so many others share without question. I see people surprised by the behaviour of animals constantly - do you think this would have occured in the Stone age? NAH! Because those people had knowledge derived from experience, the antics of other creatures were far from surprising - they were predicted and exploited! This knowledge has largely faded because people rely upon language, text, information, data, to learn knowledge. And then theyre shocked when they enter the real world and find its nothing like what was described in the text books. Please. Come on guys.
