Thinking back tonight on Christmases past. Remembering every Christmas Eve spent at Ted and Neen McGuires for their annual open house festivities. Coming home and Daddy reading us the Christmas story from the Bible. Early, early morning hours of yelling downstairs to see if we could get up yet. The delight in discovering what Santa brought. Christmas Days spent with lots of family and good food. Then years later, getting to BE Santa and being awakened by my own daughter in the very wee hours of the morning as her anticipation could not be held in check a moment longer. Yes, it is quite quiet here tonight but I take great delight in knowing that Jordan and Markel are making their own traditions and memories with and for my sweet grandson.
