This AFO has not only helped me physically, but more importantly, psychologically. Its human nature to stare at something when it appears different. Like everyone else, I have my good and bad days and its on the latter when it got to me. The stares, the snickers, the comments to the person next to them. You try to ignore them, but you still notice them. It wears on you. Now, if they even notice, it (the afo) kind of explains my situation without having to say a word. I still see the pointing, hear the comments. In fact, just moments ago while waiting for a coffee, I caught two dudes pointing in a reflection behind me. I turned and said, Its pretty friggen sick huh!. Their faces.....Priceless. I love my Mech-Leg. Now, I couldnt care less if you wanna check out my Cool as f#£k piece of titanium and carbon bit of science. :)
