This SOTU shows the glaring difference in philosophy between liberals and conservatives. The President believes in Government Innovation and not AMERICAN INNOVATION. Gas prices are lower not because of anything the government has done. Finding new ways to get more oil was made possible by AMERICAN INNOVATION. The President throws out policy ideas offering free this and free that with no mention of how to pay for it. He pushes a foreign policy that he says protects us with out using our military. He points to what he calls progress in Iran. He says he will veto more sanctions all the while Iran continues to talk and build new nuclear facilities and work towards building a nuclear weapon. He suggest the economy is improving and then says the government must step on the necks of business to save us from ourselves and stop global warming. Liberal policies all involve BIG BROTHER leading and hand holding with little faith in American Business and innovation. That sums up this SOTU, not that there is nothing Americans cant accomplish BUT THAT there is nothing that Washington DC cant accomplish.
