This Saturday, Oct 12, following the chapter meeting, we will be participating in the Breast Cancer Poker Run. Although a little expensive, $25 per person, the cause is an important one. My mother, who is a survivor, said so! Your $25 gets you a poker hand, a t shirt, a patch, and a free lunch! Now that sounds like a much better deal! So, lunch following the chapter meeting and KSU by 1:00. The route is 63 miles around Asheville (you know who mapped it!) and will take us about 3 hours with stops and yackety yack time. The route does include just about everything from 4 lane roads to twisties, to wonderful views of fall colors, to little traveled 2 lane roads, to the interstate. Lead Road Captain is Steve Caraker, sweeps include Tim Martin and Steve Garwood. Let’s all get behind this worthy cause for the TaTa’s and make this a great chapter turn out for a great chapter ride!
