This Saturday is a event you will not want to miss with the FAST series champs being crowned. The FAST Series 410 sprints only have 23 points between the leader Chris Andrews and second place Byron Reed. Once that 410 title is earned the excitement will be surrounding the FAST 305 guys this week with Nate Dussel having the point lead and has really started to turn his season around as of late just 5 points over defending Fremont Speedway champ John Ivy and then just 11 markers back we find Steve Rando who has shown he has what it takes to be a champion as well, meanwhile we have Jordan Ryan the recently crowned Attica 305 champ only 12 points from the title. This is sure to be one of the most dramatic races of the season. Not only will these champs be crowned and honored as the 2014 FAST Series champs but we will also honor many of Fremont Speedways past champions with over 50 of them said to attend the Salute of Champions event with autographs signings starting at 4:15 behind the stands. This our chance to thank these champions that have paved the way for Fremont Speedway over the last 63 years. Something else that is on tap at the track this week is the chance to win a spot on the golf team of Dale Blaney. Dale has offered to play in the Hall of Fame golf scramble and we will auction off a spot to join his team. Bidding will be done progressive style with the bid starting at just $5. All money raised by this and the golf outing helps to maintain and grow the Fremont Speedway Hall of Fame. There is still time to purchase memberships to vote in the next class of inductees as well.
