This Sunday, September 12th, please join us at 10:30am. Rev. Guys topic is Welcoming the Stranger as Friend: Overcoming Fears of the Outsider. An underlying principle of our church community is reflected in the diversity of thought and personal creed we share with one another. We live by the adage that we need not all ‘think-alike to love-alike’; indeed, we must welcome the stranger as friend. This embracing of our differences can be difficult at times. What is our theology of acceptance? What should we do when fears arise and we are pushed out of our comfort zone? What steps do we need to take to truly be the kind of welcoming congregation that we wish to be? Join us in worship as we explore how to put our fears aside and enjoy the connecting power of our delightful differences.
