This Thursday night the New Music Miami ISCM Festival continues with a concert of works by FIU Alumni composers Pablo Chin, Jeff Herriott, Federico Bonacossa, David Mendoza, and Juan Pablo Carreño, being performed by members of the NODUS Ensemble. The concert is being held at the Frost Museum of Art on the SW 8th Street 107 Ave campus of FIU. The next day 4 of the composers will be presenting a composition forum at 12:00 noon in the Wertheim Performing Arts Center Recital Hall WPAC 150 located on the same campus. Both events are free and open to the public. I hope that those of you in town will be able to get to one or both events.
