This Wednesday starting on Unceded Algonquin Territory. Begins on Victoria Island then on to Parliament Hill, Ottawa. The Women are inviting all our Sisters and supporters to join them as they humbly gift us all with Prayers. We are inviting all Women across Turtle Island to join us at Parliament Hill as we walk away from Ottawa. Our Elders are telling us that it will take the women to Make a Stand to Have our Treaties Honoured. We are not in Ottawa to request anything - the Women are coming to offer their prayers and to state their message and to walk away from Parliament in Ottawa. It is a statement of strength and power of the Indigenous Women as the caretakers of Turtle Island and in this regard they would like to invite all sisters and supporters to participate. The events taking place on Victoria Island from sunrise to 11:30 am and the walk and arrival on Parliament Hill by 12:00 pm and gathering on the Hill between 12:00 to 1:30 pm. The Walk away from the Hill and journey back to our territories will begin at 1:30 pm and will end around 3:30 pm.
