This Week in the Desert Café We have some great dishes planned for you this week! Wednesday, October 2nd- Pan roasted pork tenderloin with dried cherry-port sauce and caramelized onions. Accompanied by sour cream and leek mashed potatoes and vegetable. $9.00 Thursday, October 3rd- Trout Meunière, in the style of the miller’s wife. A trout filet lightly dusted in flour and sautéed to a golden brown then finished with a parsley-lemon brown butter sauce. Served with almond-cranberry pilaf and vegetable. $9.00 The above entrees are served with your choice of soup or salad bar, beverage and desert. Salad Feature- Chef’s salad with an Italian flair, featuring mozzarella cheese morsels, roasted sweet red pepper, kalamata olives dry cured salami and more. Served with an herb and parmesan vinaigrette. $7.50 Sandwich Feature- Classic Club Sandwich, a triple decker with bacon lettuce and tomato, turkey, American cheese and our own house-made cracked pepper mayonnaise. $7.50 Soup of the week- Chicken and rice with spinach, and fresh herbs. Dessert Feature- Lemon tartlets Hours 11:30am – 1:00pm
