This afternoon, Barrett was moved out of pICU and back into the respiratory wing. His vitals are still being monitored closely as he continued to gain strength back each day. We are hoping that tomorrow we will get the results back from the California CDC to confirm that he actually has botulism. In the mean time we hope to start rehab tomorrow to get Barrett closer to his baseline before he entered the hospital. Still not sure how long this will take, could be days, could still be weeks. Tomorrow is Barretts 5 month birthday. So much to be thankful for despite having been in the hospital for almost 2 weeks. This kiddo continues to impress both mommy and daddy. Couldnt be prouder parents.
