This antenna structure, at the TeKhi truck stop plaza, is [exactly] two miles from my home in Battle Creek, Michigan according to an automobile odometer I tripped before my left turn onto 11 Mile Rd from L Drive N., the street I live on. Now, how do you think model ship builders scale down their RC ships from the real deal? Converting feet down to inches, and even centimeters and millimeters. My math sucks, to be honest. So coming up with exact figures, haha, laughable. But.... Numbers dont lie. Humans do. Im using the height of the tower versus the length of an airliner at two miles. The idea is, now, to capture one of these low flying bastards, taken from the exact same point in my front yard, to scale against the tower. Having measured the tower on my screen first with a ruler, this can be done. Te-Khis tower is obviously longer in height, than either the KC-135 or DC-10 in fuselage length. Moral of the story?
