This article reached a national audience. This concerns me, not because of the articles content, but because of the articles title. I dont know anything about Kansas politics, but I do know a whole nation is wondering why the hell someone would compose, proofread, and print such a title for a written work. You see what The Kansas City Star did there? They named this piece by telling you what its about and clevered it all up with a reference to a movie that just came out (3 months ago). Ha! laughed The New York Times. You like the title?! Thank you! said The Kansas City Star. The Washington Post whispered, Theyre not laughing with you. Theyre laughing at you. I have aspirations for reaching a wider audience with my writing, so Im going to just have to figure out how to create these titles. Ill give it a shot with this article: Brownback to the Future of Money Problems in Kansas Intensified in Just 31 Hours The Brownback, the Bad, and the Ugly of Almost 2 Days Dr. Brownback, Or: How We Learned to Stop Worrying after Just Over 24 Hours and Accept the Kansas Budget Crisis Ferris Brownback’s Days Off When Harried Kansans Met Sam Brownback…After What He Did in 31 Hours Brownback Mountain to Climb After Just Over a Full Day Monty Python’s Life of Brownback in 31 Hours The Brownback Identity, Supremacy, and Ultimatum Revealed in 31 Hours Who Framed the State of Kansas?
