This brilliant film directed by the amazing Terrence Malick captures the complex history that involves the Europeans and Native Americans when America was born. This is of course Malicks own visual storytelling, but his film is absolutely amazing, very moving, and although there are some heavy things in the movie, it is filled with hope. Malick is a deeply devoted Christian, and is such a brilliant director and screen writer. This is definitely my favorite film,and I highly recommend it. I am actually reading a book right now written by Jake Page called In the Hands of the Great Spirit that is about the history of the Native American people and their spirituality, and there is a part in the book about the history involving the Europeans and Native Americans. There is so much to it, but I absolutely love it,and it is very fascinating sobering, and moving. Enjoy the trailer.
