This cat was found outside the Gulf petrol station in Edwardsville, Treharris (Cardiff Road, near Forest Grove), it had been hit by a car sometime before 20 past 10pm this evening. Whoever did it hadnt stopped, but we happened to pass by as a staff member was helping her. We took it to Valley Vets in Ystrad Mynach (01443 813137), and I believe the vet said it was a female, and it IS microchipped. They tried to phone the company but there was no answer. She has a fractured leg, but they arent sure about any internal injuries just yet. At present they are giving her oxygen and painkillers and will keep trying to find the owner. If anyone recognises this cat, please pass on the details, will be phoning in the morning to find out if its okay, fingers crossed!
