This coming Saturday, April 19th, Avatar Comics & Games will be hosting an event for the DC Deck Building game! All participants will receive the promo villain Felix Faust after the three preliminary rounds are over, and the winner will receive the DC Deck Building play mat! The format will be as follows: -3-4 tables of 4-5 players each; each round will be randomized -each table will be playing with a combined set of both DC Deck Building Games mixed together (so: with every superhero, super-villain and both sets of Kicks and Weaknesses) -each player will be dealt three superheroes and must choose one to play for that game; no superhero may be played more than once in the preliminary rounds; choices will reset for the final rounds -each round to be 40min long with the player finishing their turn when time is called; time will not be made public and will be called at ~20 minutes and ~5 minutes remaining -three preliminary rounds, cut to top5 for two final rounds; cut based on cumulative score from previous rounds, winner based on cumulative score from final rounds 7pm-11pm, $5 entry fee, max of 16 players, sign-ups to begin at 3pm on Saturday, must sign up in person.
