This debate on health care has kind of been getting under my skin yes I know the plan still needs work but so does all of our government as well as the poor. I know there are a lot of people out there that just hate the fact that it forces every one to have insurance and I have not yet mad it to one of the events to help people understand and sing up for the best plan for them, I would love to hear actual facts as how it screws over the poor because we are getting pretty royally screwed by the existing system. As some one that has been poor most of my life trust me it would be hard for it to be worse than whats already in place for the poor. If I work at all then cant get help with health care at all and I can not afford the premeams that most retail employers want to charge, over $100 a month for 1 person and the copays are incredibly high with tuns of things not being covered at all. When i tried to look out side of work for my insurance it was just as bad and none of these programs off her dental at all and that is just as bad for my health as a hart attack. I have had so many infection work there way all the way up in to my jaw bone because they wont treat you for a tooth gone bad at a doctor even if it is falling apart. All they will do is give you antibiotics and tylenol and send you on your way so you can just get sick again. If you are lucky enough to get state add good luck getting treated often they will tell you there is nothing seriously wrong with you or that they cant find any thing wrong with you and send you on your way with out treatment at all. they have done this to my son (he just turned 4) and my self. I dont mind not making a lot of money I am happy on my farm taking care of my son and the animals but I despise how our society treats people that dont live up to the ideal consumer making enough money to pay over inflated prices just to keep lining other people pockets. The $300 is not a premeam its a penalty for trying to ignore signing up at all. just like you would get a ticket for over 500 if you dont get car insurance. Plus I would rather pay a reasonably tax than get charged over $100 a month per person in a small family of 3 when our income up tell a couple of months of a go was under 800 a month even now we are bring in less than $1500 a month more than $1000 of that goes to rent and basic utilities. then we still have to cover food gas and other expenses. having our farm is the only way i can even afford to give health food to my family but I have not found away to replace doctors yet. god I wish I was better at herbal medicine because if those in power have there way thats the only treatment my familial with have as an option. I would love to see every politician refusing to do there job get fired. If I was still working for Michaels and i refused to do my job they would can my ass lets get ride of some of the dead weight and there will be plenty of money in the budget for health care. Well its time for me to go process some rabbit meat for my freezer.
