This evening, I ran into a homeless man outside of the convenience store nearest my house. He was miserable, his girlfriend had cheated on him & kicked him out of the house, and his feet were soaked to the bone. I told him to hang out at the bus stop a few blocks from home; I returned with an old water bottle full of warm water, a sliver of a bar of soap I had laying around, a pair of dry hiking socks, a few yards of paper towels, a little bit of what was left of one of my essential oils, a travel sized bottle of foot powder I never used, and enough bus fare to get him to his sisters house in Everett. We ended up hanging out at the park for like two hours burning incense and shootin the shit. Dude was basically a stand up comedian I swear to God; he called himself Mr. Stinky but I think his name was Michael... I had a very unexpectedly good time.
