This film was taken by my moms bestfriend Donna Margaret Crossman, this was a landslide which was caused by musgag (Grey Mud Clay and a underground river) a trailer park was built on it, my family was going to have our mobile trailer move there in a week, This was I believe 1969-70, I was in Grade 4 at that time, if it wasnt for the Dozer Operator who was working on the Park people would have lost their lives. This happened in a small mining town called Kitsault, B.C. Today someone owns this town which no one lives there except a caretaker, the want to build a LNG Plant there, hopefully it will not go through because it is not safe in that region.
