This group was originally created in an effort to share and gain knowledge in the area of prepping. That goal remains the same. Posts should be prepping related; however, that is a different spectrum for each of us. Each persons opinions, ideas, thoughts, reasons and plans of use of knowledge gained are unique to that individual based on their personal experiences and life-lessons. Posts related to why a person was motivated to begin prepping are considered to be a part of this group. Items that make ya think are acceptable; however, arguing, cursing each other, name-calling, talking down to each other are not and will not be tolerated. Each person has the right to their opinions and no one can change someone elses thoughts, opinions or motivations for/about prepping, so please do not attempt to do so as it will only interrupt the overall flow of the group. If you do not agree with the content of a post, then skim over it and move to the next post, arguing with them will not change their mind anymore than their argument will change yours. If another group member continuously posts items or makes comments that you find offensive, you have options. You may ignore that person, you may block that person, or you may PRIVATELY contact an administrator to evaluate and confer with other administrators about the issue. (Please note that your responses to that person are a reflection of you.) If you have a moderator blocked from seeing your posts you will be removed from the group. The moderators can see who has blocked them by looking at the users names and we do share information back and forth so if you need to know who the moderators are please click on the members page and click admins. Please be courteous and respectful of others. In doing so, also recognize that, occasionally, there will be some that desire to argue/debate as a pass time and in contributing to it, you are only fanning the flames. If there are issues with another group member or a question about what is appropriate for the group, feel free to private message an administrator and/or tag an administrator in the post as the group wall moves quickly and your question/comment could be missed. ***PLEASE NOTE: Continuous arguing when asked by adninistrator to cease, may result in those individuals being removed from the group.*** Posts should be within the realm of facebook policy. The administrators of this group are here to keep an even flow of information. Admins do not have the desire to be the post patrol, they are preppers, too. We are all here for the same purpose: KNOWLEDGE and to increase our skills. Lets do what this group was created to do: help each other learn without tearing each other down. Like
