This has been a great week for adoptions. Sally, our sweet sato, was rescued by a wonderful couple in Puerto Rico. They found her with an embedded collar around her neck which required surgery. The Sato Project took her into our program and Yamayra and Carlos, nursed her back to health and fostered her until she was ready for her trip to New York. Thank you Yamayra and Carlos - you are amazing! and your sweet Sally has been adopted by an amazing family. When Sally arrived in New York she was fostered by our newest foster, Erika. Erika was wonderful with Sally and we are so happy to have her as part of The Sato Project team. When Sallys new family contacted us they told us that Sally reminded them of their current rescue dog from Alabama, Ollie. Wait til you see the pictures. Sallys new mom and dad have a fenced in yard and she is a stay at home mom - what could be better. Sally also has two young human siblings who she is great with. Here is an update from Sallys mom Pam Sally is doing great. She and Ollie are already the best of friends and play until they are all tuckered out. Its hard to tell them apart sometimes. Sally has been wonderful with the kids. Shes eating well, sleeping well, seems right at home. Shes already part of the family. In the first picture Sally is in the middle with the black harness and in the second picture Sally has the red collar on. There is nothing better than seeing our dogs go to the most loving, forever homes.
