A 21-year-old women shot in the chest and back was listed in grave condition. A 20-year-old woman also suffered a graze wound to the right leg but refused treatment, Mirabelli said. A 19-year-old man was killed Saturday in a fatal shooting just before midnight in the 800 block of South Lawndale Avenue, police said. The teen, who has known gang affiliations, was shot in the head while riding his bike. A witness saw him riding his bicycle in the area, heard shots and found him. The witness also saw two men fleeing the scene on bicycles, heading westbound, Mirabelli said. The man was pronounced dead at Mount Sinai Hospital just after 3 a.m., according to police. Another man was killed 20 minutes earlier in the 0-100 block of South Parkside Avenue, just one block from the Austin District police station. Two 20-year-old men were shot in the incident. One of the men was pronounced dead at the scene and another was in stable condition at the scene, police said. Around 11:30 p.m. Friday in the 1800 block of North Pulaski Road when two people were shot, one of them fatally, and another was pistol-whipped by a co-worker after arguing at a party about beer. Police said a man in his 40s was shot in the abdomen and later pronounced dead at Mount Sinai Hospital while a second man was last listed in critical condition at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center with multiple gunshot wounds. A third victim was pistol-whipped at treated at the scene, according to Chicago Police News Affairs Officer Michael Sullivan. Police said the co-workers were at a party when an argument ensued over beer. The offender left the party but returned with a handgun and fired multiple shots. Police said a suspect is in custody but charges had not been filed as of Saturday morning. Around 9:50 p.m. a 75-year-old man was found dead in the 5600 block of South Racine Avenue with trauma to the head. It was originally unclear how he died, whether by gunshot or being hit by an object, but police later confirmed he died of blunt force trauma. Earlier Friday afternoon, a 3-year-old girl reportedly alerted neighbors to the fatal shooting of her 24-year-old stepfather at a family home in the Morgan Park neighborhood Friday. Police responded to a report of shots fired around 3:10 p.m. in the 1100 block of West 111th Place, according to Police News Affairs Officer Jose Estrada. A 24-year-old man was found dead inside the residence with a gunshot wound to the head, Estrada said. A toddler, who was thought to have been home at the time of the shooting, ran next door to tell neighbors, the Chicago Tribune reported.
