This is Craig Carmody with Great River Outfitters & the Path of Life Garden in Windsor, VT. I just wanted to take a moment to update you on our Activities: YES there is snow on our trails and we are Dog Sledding!! We have availability for Sunday 11 Jan 2015 3pm - 4pm - and 5pm. (Please call the shop number below to schedule!) We also offer snow shoeing hourly rentals as well as an UNDER THE STARS snow shoeing package- through the POL Garden and Trails to a bonfire with a picnic of local cheeses, crackers, Smores, hot chocolate, and hot cider! It is a terrific winter outing. Also we offer a 30 - 45 minute horse drawn sleigh/carriage ride that really gives you an old fashioned New England feel. (horse drawn sleigh rides available Wed, Sat, and Sun) Please call for times, location and availability! And for those adventurous types who have wondered what it is like to winter camp in a Tipi -we offer overnight camping in the POL Garden. We provide the Tipi, fire wood, sleeping bags, cots, head lamps and a camp kit with everything you need, you just bring the food, fun and a sense of adventure!
