This is Dave. Look up this tracking number on usps 13141410000065256548 This package was sent from Anchorage to Stantonville TN on 12/27/2014. The USPS clerk in Anchorage entered the wrong zip code on the bar code for the package and as you can see the package has been all over the place. (The package has the correct address & zip code on it, only the bar code is wrong) When the package gets to a postal facility the bar code is read automatically and off the package goes on its journey to the next stop. According to US Postal Service, there is no way to change the bar code once it is entered, someone has to physically get their hands on the package and enter the correct bar code to place on the package. Seems in this computer age changing the bar code would be an easy thing to do. Or at least there should be someway to flag this tracking number to kick it out for manual review. Making phone calls to the package stops serves no purpose since no one answers the phone. This package contains fragile items and is insured for $250. Maybe we will receive the package someday.......
