This is MUCH more than crazy fundie religious BS. This is a road map ….. a battle plan. Ted Cruz has been anointed as KING. He is to rule over this country, by divine right. He will destroy the enemy (anyone who isn’t of *his* church – the NAR – Dominionists. He will facilitate the transfer of wealth TO his church. There is a LOT in the article that makes me tremble with fear ….. these people frighten me. Read the description of the setting again. The introduction of Rafael Cruz as preacher begins with a blast of the shofar. There is a menorah on the stage. The speaker’s rostrum has the star of David (the symbol of the Jewish people) with a cross superimposed over it. They are telling us what they intend to do. They are warning us. They desire a transfer of the wealth (haven’t Republicans been saying that wealth transfer is a bad thing??? Apparently it’s only bad if the wealth isn’t transferred from non-Christians *TO* them!) Ted Cruz has been anointed to do that transfer the wealth. Apparently, the NAR thinks that Jews control that wealth, and we must be forced to give it to the anointed disciples of Jesus ….. and to Ted Cruz, leading them. As a Jew, this kind of teaching scares the crap out of me! It isn’t just fundie craziness ….. it is a warning. It is a warning that if these people win more elections, they will bring about the utter destruction of this country. The question is ………. Do I wait for the Nuremberg Laws? Do I wait for Kristalnacht? Do I wait for the camps and the ovens? Or do I fight them tooth and nail while I am still free as an American to defend myself and my country against a group of fanatics who wish only to make it a Christian theocracy? Or do I get out while the getting is good? My passport is up to date …… and I am going to make sure it always is.
