This is NOT directed to every single religious person but to those who spit poison on others and act superior because they go to church or because they say Amen or hallelujah in every sentence.I was just explaining to someone the other day that religious people are sometimes the biggest hypocrites. They talk about who is going to hell and degrade sinners and down talk anyone who doesnt follow their religion or beliefs. That alone goes against EVERYTHING Jesus taught us..to love thy neighbor and also love your enemies. Instead, these so called followers of God think they can condemn others who sin when in fact they are sinning themselves by cursing other people when they should be loving them no matter what and helping them through. I am a very strong believer in God but not in religion. Man has manipulated the teachings way too much. If you want to go by what God says, then love EVERYONE, even those who you cant stand. If you find that too hard then at least pray for them to become better people. You cant call yourself a person of God yet hate another person that God created. Jesus loved and forgave everyone, even the people who crucified him and killed him but people in this world cant even forgive someone who makes a mistake. Remember, you dont forgive because they deserve it but because YOU deserve to happy and free from anger and resentment. Think of something, if God held a grudge on EVERY one of us and didnt forgive us every time we did wrong, where do you think wed all be or end up? Think about that next time you want to hate someone or hold a grudge against them. Dont love someone only when it benefits you because thats not God like at all. If you cant love and let go of hate then you cant call yourself a person of God. Sorry but I dont think you can half ass Gods teachings. Either you go by his love and compassion or you dont. Checking in on Sundays doesnt make you any better than the person who prays at home. Sometimes that person who prays at home has more love and compassion in their heart than those preaching the word and thats being real.
