This is Roys story in his own words: Hiya Tobbe, Please convey my apologies to the rest of the group (and include yourself) for my prolonged absence... I have, since mid-February, had a catalogue of disasters that I am earnestly trying to surmount!!! Firstly, I dropped an e-key (used to purchase and top-up electric supplies) down behind my computer desk... As this was a matter of some urgency, I took everything, and I mean EVERYTHING off the desk... It WAS a huge corner-sitting beast, so you can imagine how it took me 2 hours to safely unplug (and then match-up with their relevant power units) my external hard drives (5), my printer/scanner and all other devices!! Then I had to take the top hutch off the desk so that I could move it - the hutch fell to pieces before my eyes!!! When I pulled the base desk out, it too broke apart!!! So - undaunted, I ordered a new desk - it gets delivered tomorrow, but will need building up... So I balanced my iMac (sans ext HDs) on the corner of a table, only to find that my broadband connection is now, at best, only working intermittently, and my ISP is less than useless on how to cure my ills... More expense? My car developed a break fault - so I was without transport for nearly 10 days whilst that was fixed... Then the pains started in my lower back, which means Im short of sleep, irritable, and not very good company right now! Anything else? Yup!! I get the odd email from FB telling me that Im missed on the BBT Group... That is depressing me because I enjoy all your (collective) humour, memories, musical experiences and the outstanding camaraderie!! As YOU are the ONLY one of the BBT Group people that I know with a Last.fm page, I thought it appropriate that I tell you what is going on etc... Hopefully, if the Sun aligns with the planets and constellations, and the omens are favourable, I should be back with you all by next weekend...
