This is a 12 shot Panorama of The Milky Way on top of Mt. Evans at 14,200 ft. I took this photo last summer of our Galaxy over the state capital of Denver, Colorado which is what the yellow colors are. The yellow is in fact light pollution from the entire city of Denver. The Galactic Core of The Milky Way and its spiral arm stretch across the night sky as some light pollution is hitting the Meyer-Womble Observatory which is the dome that is silhouetted in the foreground. I gave this photo the title Billions & Billions as a nod to the late Carl Sagan. #TheMilkyWay #Space #Astrophotography #Panorama Outdoor Photographer Magazine National Geographic Magazine Digital SLR Photography Magazine Shutterbug Magazine Digital Photo Pro Magazine Landscape Photography Magazine Professional Photographer Magazine Digital Photographer magazine
