This is a National Call to Action: President Obama will announce Thursday at 8PM ET---7 CST the details of an executive order on immigration that will expand temporary protections to millions of undocumented immigrants. For more news, please go to FoxNews and watch Fox News Channel. PLEASE SHARE this info with your family, friends, Congressmen/women and Senators... Congress is given the power to regulate both naturalization and bankruptcy rules or laws in this section...Many of you should know, the enumerated powers section of Article I pertaining to congressional powers is a laundry list of items under the legal authority of congress, one of which is the power to regulate naturalization and another of which is the power to regulate bankruptcy laws... If you check Article II, pertaining to executive powers of the president, you will find no law making authority at all, and no mention of immigration or naturalization... Article I. Section 1, all legislative powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives... The Executive Branch has NO law making authority at all... CRITICAL FACTS FOR EVERY AMERICAN TODAY: 1. The US Constitution grants the US Congress sole authority to establish a uniform rule (or rules) for naturalization to the United States under Article I - Section 8 - Clause 4 of the enumerated powers of Congress. 2. What Obama is threatening to do is alter or establish new un-uniformed rules for naturalization to the United States via Executive Order, which is a direct violation of the US Constitution and not within the legal purview of the Executive Branch at all. 3. Executive Orders exist as an emergency tool of the Executive Branch for when Congress is not in session and a time-sensitive emergency arises. Executive Orders are not laws as the US Constitution grants the Executive Branch NO law making authority whatsoever. 4. To stop amnesty by EO dead, all congress has to do is pass a joint resolution rejecting the EO as beyond the constitutional authority of the Executive Branch citing Article I enumerated power to regulate naturalization. We should be demanding Congress to stay in Session so they can do exactly what Item 4 suggest... Researched and approved by J. b. Williams.....and myself... END OF STORY!!!
