This is a board my Dad Keith Halford sprayed circa 1980. It was actually his own board and I remember it clear as a bell from when I was a kid around 7 years old. He used to paint boards under our house, an old Queenslander in Palm Beach. I was working in a surf shop down in Coolangatta around 15 years ago when a bloke walks in the door looking to sell it. I couldnt believe my eyes. It was badly beat up but of course had to have it and handed the bloke the $80 he wanted for it. I had it completely restored by Steve at Full Force and it came up unreal! The board is a 64 Ocean Boulevard shaped by Steve Godard and the Vortex logo was the name of his airbrush business.
