This is a brilliant illustration of dog body language and communication. First off, I do NOT allow my dogs to practice this...but I wanted to get it on video so here it is. Its so subtle yet very powerful. Tally, the border collie, is controlling and threatening the Dutchie puppy on the couch. Can you see the tension, the intensity? Also, the puppy does a brilliant job of handling this RUDE behavior. He stays soft and relaxed, avoids eye contact and makes no quick movements. At the end, when I interrupt, do you see the puppys lip lick? Hes like, phew, glad THATs over. Really intense!
