This is a complete Joke. Maybe the fee should be $20,000. These toothless Tigers the FIRB (The Foreign Investment Review Board) dont enforce the rules and are selling off Australia. Our Manufacturing has been taken away from us and now this. Look at the case in New Guinea in which Australia sent Foreign aid there and their Politicians used this money to purchase lucrative properties in Northern Qld. Australians are getting screwed over because house prices have gone up more than their wage and young people cannot afford to buy. Shame on this Department.
