This is a good look at Ukrainian thoughts about the US and NATO. Basically Ukraine is not so wild about NATO or the US. The US failed to honor its commitment in the Budapest Accords and NATO has not had one successful operation in the last 20 years. Why would Ukraine want to trust the US or NATO when neither are honor their commitments nor have a track record of success. The US and NATO would be allies that could not be depended on in a crisis. My thoughts on this is as a nation, going back to the Korean War, including Viet Nam and every conflict since is that we have good troops led by cowardly leaders. We did not end Korea because we might piss off Russia, we did not defeat North Viet Nam because we might piss off Russia, and every war since we sent troops to the field, having overwhelming force at our disposal, and our leaders lack the courage that the troops in the field have. Ukraine has a valid point, if we dont start electing some leaders with courage, intelligence, and honor, were screwed and the rest of the world is going down the tubes with us.
