This is a journey I traveled with my late husband, Joe and this video is an example of what we too experienced through music. When he could still stand...we danced, weekly the music therapist from hospice also brought us great peace, each day began and ended with me singing to him and on several occasions we also enjoyed visits from the hospice choir, which I recorded. I often played those recordings for Joe and it was what we were doing on the day he passed. Blessed are the memories which have allowed me to grieve the loss of Joe with a heart that was content in knowing I did everything possible to help him feel safe, valued and loved during the most difficult years of his life. I am eternally grateful to Jarelle Marie Flibotte and Roger Rouleau for all they both did to make Joes journey less difficult. I am happy and blessed in my new life. (Thank you for sharing this Michelle Marie, reflection is a healthy thing and memories are a blessing....all is well with my soul.)
