This is a long one, just a warning!!! So finally it has happened, I have been in America for a whole year! For some of you reading this, it means nothing other than me not being around. But for me this was a huge step and a radical change in my life. This exact day last year I hopped on a plane and came to the states to marry my best friend EJ Espada-Moreno (other than Christopher Santos o el cerdo de mi primo Antonio K Moreno of course) a decision I have not regretted. Although I left a lot behind I gained a whole lot too and even though I sometimes find myself thinking about and missing my friends and family, Im also really happy to be here and I can honestly say that I am happy I made the move. Now I not only have those whove always been there for me but I have new friends, new family, a new job or two, a lovely house and most importantly a life partner who makes my days complete and does everything she can to make me happy everyday! Id like to thank everyone who supported me and even those who didnt. All my new friends and family in NYC, Cyndy, Rob, Laura, Tristan, Louie, Karen. My parents William Moreno, Maria Jesús Moreno who have probably been the only ones to really suffer from having me leave, my brother Shane Moreno for keeping my parents busy while Im gone and keeping his life together, my brother Gabriel Moreno and his GF Joanne Dyer for making NYC feel more like home with their presence and constant support. Thanks to all my friends from Gib, again chris and tony I miss you. all the guys from the DFRS, you guys all gave me the best advice and were all honest with your opinions which I really appreciate because it has and does help me daily. My coworkers at target, although I dont have you all on FB I appreciate each and everyone of you and you too have contributed to my intergration into the US and teach me daily everything about NYC. My FOCUS buddies, in the short time ive met you, youve all made and continue to make my studies and learning that much more bearable and you also help me enjoy my time in NYC. My family in Gib and Spain whom i think of and miss daily. Thank god for FaceBook lol this way I keep up to date with everything going on in your lives and everyone else who I havnt mentioned directly. I leave you all with one thought. Wherever you are, whoever you are, do what makes you happy! its never too late and if that means giving up a great job, great friends, great house and great family so be it because if theyre that great, theyll always be there and I know, that luckily thats what I have. At the end of the day you all helped me get to where I am and where Ill be in the future, so thanks! ^_^ xx
